“LA NOTTE DELLA RESA DEI CONTI” IN SAUDI ARABIA
C’era una volta il Santo Stefano della Grande Boxe. Il 26 dicembre.
A Milano dove è nato il panettone e anche l’aperitivo e mille altre delizie, si andava alla Grande Boxe per smaltire l’inevitabile grande abbuffata natalizia. Un rito.
E non mancherà nemmeno quest’anno che concluderà un’annata eccezionale di bel pugilato nelle migliori arene, sparse in tutto il mondo. Un finale d’anno con il grande botto. Non esattamente nella mia Milano ma all’arena Ariake, di Koto-Ku, Giappone.
Sarà un evento con in palio quattro cinture, milioni in soldoni in un match che sulla carta è più che entusiasmante.
Si tratta dell’incontro tra Campione il Numero Uno dei Pesi Super Gallo, il giapponese mostro del Knock Out, NAOYA INOUE vs il numero due, il filippino MARLON TAPALES. Match di grande onore.
Questa notte 23 dicembre, a Riad è la notte della resa dei conti.
Una serata mostruosa di talenti al peso e così tirati a lucido…
Evento che determinerà chi è davvero pronto per la vetta del 2024
Un cartellone così ricco tutto in una notte di Pesi Massimi, Cruiserweight e Massimi Leggeri non ha precedenti. Ragazzi pesanti!
La Kingdom Arena di Riad questa notte ospita una parata di stelle delle boxe, un apero, succulento, delizioso, sfizioso, squisito, prelibato, stuzzicante, in attesa di inebriarsi per il grande match dei Pesi Massimi per la Storia, tra il britannico TYSON FURY vs OLEKSANDR USYK, ucraino.
L’evento programmato per il prossimo 17 Febbraio 2024, certo in questa stessa Kingdom Arena. Sul piatto d’oro ci saranno tutte e quattro le Cinture dei Pesi Massimi: WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF.
Una riunificazione di tutte le cinture talmente anelata…L’ultima volta che è successo è stato nel 1999 tra LENNOX LEWIS vs EVANDER HOLYFIELD. Il britannico/canadese di origini giamaicane, LENNOX LEWIS, un Campione geniale, potente, tra i grandissimi Pesi Massimi di sempre. Un ragazzone amabile.
La Storia continua i Campioni che saliranno sul ring di questa notte sentono più che mai l’importanza di lasciare il segno alla Kingdom Arena per continuare il loro sogno.
É una sera in cui chi è dentro é dentro chi è fuori…non ci sono panchine nella boxe.
Una notte sfarzosa, la grande Boxe lo è sempre, ma stanotte in più é sotto il cielo stellato del deserto di Riad. Ci sarà lo spettacolo? Dovrò andarci per veirifcare…la prossima volta non manco.
Le prime file saranno le più ricche di Emirati.
Si sa la Boxe piace a tutti, ricchi e poveri colti e ignoranti. La sfida di due Campioni sul Ring è la metafora della sfida di ognuno di noi nel Ring della Vita.
Si dice sfida perché non è un gioco.
È la vita che sfida il suo destino con le possibilità che ogni campione ha nelle sue mani, nelle sue braccia, nelle sue gambe, tanto nella sua testa.
I Campioni di questa notte hanno la responsabilità di tenere alto il nostro Sport: la Boxe. Sport universale.
Ogni nazione che ha ospitato la grande boxe, che ha avuto l’eccezionalità dell’evento, e non mi riferisco ai soliti USA che per decenni han sfornato leggende e dettato legge sul nostro sport, e certo anche oggi, sottolineando il gran lavoro degli ultimi anni della Gran Bretagna, ma la Boxe non appartiene solo all’America o GB.
Basti pensare ai fenomenali Campioni Ucraini che si susseguono. Il mondo della boxe è davvero più largo.
É sport globale. E in questa notte di Riad continua il suo avventuroso viaggio.
Le autorità dell’intrattenimento del Saudi Arabia han fatto le cose in grande, un importante investimento, l’organizzazione sembra impeccabile, da lontano non fa un plissè.
Questa è la notte nel Ring di fuoco di Riad.
Sarà un Ring rovente, la caratura dei protagonisti c’è. E anche il mio pronostico. Per vincere bisogna osare.

- JOSHUA vince via KO al 5° round è sembrato grande vs un più che deludente WALLIN.
- PARKER colpo su colpo ha dipinto lui il ring della Kingdom Arena, vincendo ai punti in ogni round un Wilder che non ha mai avuto il guizzo dell’unico colpo che conosce il KO. WILDER non ce l’ha mai fatta contro un vero atleta di pugilato. E l’unico che ha incontrato nella sua carriera è stato FURY, che lo ha castigato tre volte. Così i cartellini dei giudici 118/111, 118/110, 120/108
- E niente il broccolone MILLER troppo grasso, senza disciplina, nessuna stima di sè, impreciso, è stato fermato dall’arbitro dopo una raffica di DUBOIS.
- Finalmente la mia previsione è stata perfetta, straordinario KABAYEL umilia al 4°round stendendo con tre Knock Down MAKHMUDOV, chiudendo a 1 minuto dalla fine. KABAYEL via KO! Lo aspetta un futuro importante.
- Insomma DE MORI è salito sul ring per un caso…Questo non è vincere facile, è non avere un avversario. HRGOVIC al 1° round via KO!
- Confermo SANCHEZ classe e bella scuola chiude via KO al 7° round. Nel 2024 dovrebbero dare più opportunità.

“THE RECKONING NIGHT” IN SAUDI ARABIA
Once upon a time, there was the Boxing Day of Great Boxing. December 26th.
In Milano, where panettone and also the aperitif, and a thousand other delights were born, people went to the Grande Boxe to work off the inevitable big Christmas binge. A ritual.
And there will be no shortage of this year either, which will conclude an exceptional year of great boxing in the best arenas, spread across the world.
A final of the year with a big bang. Not exactly in my Milano, but at the Ariake arena, in Koto-Ku, Japan.
It will be an event with four belts up for grabs, and millions in cash in a fight that on paper is more than exciting.
This will be the fight between the Number One Super Bantamweight Champion, the Japanese Knock Out monster, NAOYA INOUE vs the number two, the Filipino MARLON TAPALES. Fight of great honor.
Tonight, December 23rd is the night of reckoning in Riyadh.
A monstrous evening of talents at the weight and so spit-shined…
An event that will determine who is truly ready for the best in the new 2024
Such a rich billboard all in one night of Heavyweights, Cruiserweights, and Light Heavyweights is unprecedented. Heavy guys!
The Kingdom Arena in Riyadh this night hosts a parade of boxing stars, an apero, (aperitif) succulent, delicious, tasty, exquisite, delicious, appetizing, waiting to get inebriated for the great Heavyweight fight for History, between the British TYSON FURY vs OLEKSANDR USYK, Ukrainian.
The event is scheduled for February 17th, 2024, certainly in this same Kingdom Arena. On the golden platter, there will be all four Heavyweight Belts: WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF.

We know that everyone likes boxing, rich and poor, educated and ignorant.
The challenge of two Champions in the Ring is the metaphor of the challenge of each of us in the Ring of Life.
It’s called a challenge because it’s not a game.
It’s the life that challenges his destiny with the possibilities that every Champion has in his hands, in his arms, in his legs, and even more in his head.

The entertainment authorities of Saudi Arabia have done things in a big way, an important investment, the organization seems impeccable. From afar it doesn’t make a pleat.
This is the night in Riyadh’s Ring of Fire.
