CHANTELLE CAMERON vs KATYE TAYLOR 2°. La potenza dell’ambizione

Questa notte alla 3Arena di Dublino, la base adorante dei fans di KATYE TAYLOR comunque andrà, festeggeranno la loro campionessa indiscussa dei Pesi Leggeri.

Infatti TAYLOR farà un secondo tentativo contro la campionessa indiscussa dei Pesi Welter junior CHANTELLE CAMERON.

Lo scorso maggio, l’inglese CAMERON ha superato la campionessa irlandese, infliggendo a TAYLOR la sua prima sconfitta. Decisamente un bel match, tra i migliori nella storia della Boxe Donne, dove l’inglese ha vinto nettamente ma dove l’irlandese non ha sfigurato.

CAMERON e TAYLOR hanno scaldato il pubblico per la loro competitività regalando momenti di intensa boxe.

Il cuore di queste due combattenti è generoso, è grande,  abituato allo sforzo.

Questa notte irlandese TAYLOR esalterà la rivalità, deve vincere se vuole la trilogia. Del resto KATYE ha superato barriere, partendo dalla Medaglia d’oro Olimpica nel 2012 a Londra.

Nel 2016 entra nei Pro sino a dominare appunto la categoria dei Pesi Leggeri confermandosi in due sfide avvincenti  vs la belga DELFIN PERSOON conquistando tutte e quattro le cinture – WBA- WBA- WBO- IBF.

La Boxe femminile negli ultimi anni è esplosa con la norvegese CECILIA BRAEKHUS, che ha regalato in ogni ring del mondo di cui ha attraversato le corde, sensazionali match. E promuovendo gli alti valori della Boxe Donne.

CECILIA una vera ispiratrice per un movimento che ci ha messo decine di anni prima di affermarsi. Ha avuto esplosioni con atlete di caratura fantastica.

Non è facile sedurre un pubblico abituato alle imprese di uomini, in uno sport decisamente maschio. Finalmente siamo negli anni migliori.

Ricordiamocelo in questa data importante, oggi 25 novembre gionata iinternazionale dedicata CONTRO LA VIOLENZA ALLE DONNE.

Ora si è imposto questo brillante trio: AMANDA SERRANO, CLARESSA SHIELDS e KATYE TAYLOR. CHANTELLE CAMERON entra a pieno titolo.

SERRANO è l’unica che ha combattuto nell’ultimo match in 12 round di tre minuti. Brava!

Personalmente non sono d’accordo, noi donne non abbiamo il fisico di un uomo. E dunque non si tratta di sottolineare la meno potenza tra uomo e donna, ma di fare i conti con due tipologie di fisico diverse.

La salute non deve mai essere messa a rischio.

Dunque dopo l’eccezione di SERRANO, questa notte le due campionesse si sfideranno nella 3Arena di Dublino, al solito in 10 round di 2 minuti cadauno.

La boxe non ha un programma fisso come gli altri sport, sono tante le varianti che impediscono che un match succeda, la prima senza dubbio è l’indisponibilità per causa fisica.

Infatti non è così che doveva andare l’anno.

Il 2023 avrebbe dovuto vedere TAYLOR in una rivincita con la campionessa dei Pesi Piuma AMANDA SERRANO dopo il loro meraviglioso match al Madison Square Garden nel 2022. Rimane un classico per tutti i tempi.

Le due, TAYLOR e SERRANO a febbraio, dopo l’eccezionale vincita di AMANDA SERRANO vs ERIKA CRUZ, match di riunificazione di tutti e quattro i trofei dei Pesi Piuma,  avevano annunciato il loro rematch.

In meno di un mese il piano svanisce, SERRANO si infortuna. E KATYE TAYLOR ha accettato di cambiare e superare la sua categoria dei Pesi Leggeri per combattere nei Pesi Welter leggeri, o Pesi Super Leggeri. E così sfidare la regina della categoria, CHANTELLE CAMERON.

Sono due ragazze con sconfinata ambizione e determinazione.

Questa è la potenza del match.

Non c’è sconfitta in chi ci mette tutto quanto ha. E sul ring non si può bleffare vince chi da di più.

Semplicemente il talento di una, sarà superiore all’altra.

Sono certa che comunque andrà, tra le due campionesse non rimarrà attrito ma riconoscenza per l’opportunità.

Sarebbe bello se anche nella nostra quotidianità avessimo lo stesso spirito competitivo, con l’amissione della migliore. E andare avanti…

CAMERON 32 anni di Northampton, GB, nei suoi match precedenti ha sconfitto l’americana JESSICA McCASKILL conquistando tutti e quattro i trofei nei Pesi Welter.  E poi vs TAYLOR, si è confermata di nuovo e dunque questa sera mette in palio tutti i suoi titoli della categoria dei Pesi Welter Jr.

TAYLOR 37 anni di Bray, Irlanda non ha intenzione di ritirarsi. Stasera deve soddisfare quella platea irlandese, ma anche oltre i confini perché TAYLOR è una di quelle campionesse che ha costruito base di ammiratori ovunque.

Sono due “Star del Ring” match avvincente, prevedo che CAMERON scalzerà ogni sogno di TAYLOR di rimanere nei Pesi Super Welter, mantenendo i titoli conquistati.

TAYLOR sarà costretta a tornare a confrontarsi vs SERRANO nella categoria dei Pesi Leggeri. Questa è la vera chance che può rimettere in careggiata la carriera di TAYLOR.

AMANDA SERRANO non aspetta altro che questa sfida! Pronta a salire di nuovo nella categoria dei Pesi Leggeri.

UN GRANDE MATCH PER LA STORIA! KATYE TAYLOR VINCE MD!

KATYE TAYLOR da stanotte è campionessa in due categorie di peso, spazzolando tutte e 4 le cinture in palio dei pesi Super Leggeri sino a prima in vita di CHANTELLE CAMERON: WBC, WBA, WBO e IBF

I cartellini dei giudici: 95-95, 98-92 e 96-94

 Nel terzo round, Cameron ha le mani più pesanti, ma Taylor ha una velocità migliore. Non si danno tregua! Queste due donne guerriere hanno dato vita ad un vero grande, bello spettacolo di boxe!

Taylor e Cameron hanno uno scontro di teste negli ultimi secondi del round e un taglio si apre sulla fronte di Cameron. Non è un bel taglio..

Tra un round e l’altro viene tamponato, il sangue di tanto in tanto scorre sulle guance di Cameron, per fortuna non offusca la vista.

Fantastico 7° round Cameron avanza mentre Taylor cerca il colpo d’incontro. Questo è il primo match in cui Taylor si presenta come perdente e ha voglia di dimostrare chi è! Mette a segno molti colpi   

Le loro teste si stanno avvicinando così tanto che lavorano entrambi in punta di piedi! Cameron mette a segno un enorme gancio sinistro e Taylor risponde con il suo! Questa è una guerra pazzesca! Bombe da entrambe le parti!

8° round Cameron sente il fiato sul collo dei fans irlandesi mette a segno un montante che scuote Taylor. Taylor reagisce con un pesante destro! Un altro bel round!  

Nel 10° round finale, i guantoni volano liberi e c’è l’ennesimo scambio rovente. Entrambe hanno le mani piene! Taylor forse ha la meglio proprio grazie all’enorme volume di pugni!

Negli ultimi 20 secondi, del 10° round, Cameron prova a sferrare pugni pesanti Taylor resiste. Il match è finito! Che straordinaria notte di Grande Boxe! Che combattimento all’ultimo round!

Un appunto al giudice che forse ha visto meno di ciò che accadeva sotto i suoi occhi, ha dato 98-92 per TAYLOR. Decisamente il match è stato un match combattivo, molto. E molto equilibrato. Questa distanza di punteggio non è giustificata

Non mancherà il terzo match, la trilogia è d’obbligo quando due campionesse sanno dare così tanto cuore sul ring il pubblico in estasi, pretende il terzo match.

CHANTELLE CAMERON vs KATYE TAYLOR 2nd. The power of ambition

Tonight at the 3Arena in Dublin, KATYE TAYLOR’s adoring fan base, however it goes, will celebrate their undisputed Lightweight champion.
In fact, TAYLOR will make a second attempt vs the undisputed Welterweight Jr. champion CHANTELLE CAMERON.
Last May, the British CAMERON overcame TAYLOR the Irish champion, inflicting the first defeat.

Definitely a good fight, among the best in the history of Women’s Boxing, where the Englishwoman won clearly but where the Irishwoman didn’t disfigure herself.

CAMERON and TAYLOR warmed up the audience with their competitiveness, providing moments of intense boxing.
The hearts of these two fighters are generous, they are big, and they are used to the effort.

This Irish night, TAYLOR will enhance the rivalry, she must win if she wants the trilogy. After all, KATYE has overcome barriers, starting from the Olympic Gold Medal in 2012 in London; in 2016 she entered the Pros until she dominated the Lightweight division, confirming herself in two exciting challenges vs the explosive Belgian DELFIN PERSOON, winning all four belts – WBA-WBA-WBO-IBF.

Women’s boxing has exploded in recent years with the Norwegian CECILIA BRAEKHUS, who has given sensational matches in every ring in the world where she has crossed the ropes. And promoting the high values of Women’s Boxing.
She, Cecilia is a true inspiration for a movement that took decades to establish itself.

We have had explosions with fantastic athletes.
It’s not easy to seduce an audience accustomed to the exploits of men, in a decidedly male sport. We are finally in the best years.

Let’s remember this on this important date, today 25 November the international day dedicated to VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.

Now this brilliant trio has established itself: AMANDA SERRANO, CLARESSA SHIELDS, and KATYE TAYLOR. Of course, CHANTELLE CAMERON enters fully.
SERRANO is the only one who fought in the last match in 12 three-minute rounds. Good!
Personally, I don’t agree, we women don’t have the body of a man. And therefore it’s not a question of underlining the less power between men and women, but of dealing with two different body types.

Health must never be put at risk.

So after the exception of SERRANO, tonight the two champions will compete in the 3Arena in Dublin, as usual in 10 rounds of 2 minutes each.
Boxing doesn’t have a fixed program like other sports, there are many variations that prevent a match from happening, the first without a doubt is unavailability due to physical injuries.
In fact, this is not how the year was supposed to go.

2023 was supposed to see TAYLOR in a rematch with Featherweight champion AMANDA SERRANO after their wonderful fight at Madison Square Garden in 2022. It remains an all-time classic.
The two, TAYLOR and SERRANO, last  February, after the exceptional win of AMANDA SERRANO vs ERIKA CRUZ, the reunification match of all four Featherweight trophies, announced their rematch.

In less than a month the plan vanished, and SERRANO was injured. KATYE TAYLOR has agreed to move up from the Lightweight division to fight at Light Welterweight or Super Lightweight. And so she challenges the queen of the division, CHANTELLE CAMERON.

Two girls with boundless ambition and determination.
This is the power of the match.
There is no defeat in those who put everything they have into it. And in the ring, you can’t bluff. The one who gives the most wins.

Simply the talent of one will be superior to the other.
I am sure that however, the fight will end, there will be no friction between the two champions but rather gratitude for the opportunity.

It would be nice if we had the same competitive spirit in our daily lives, with the admission of the best. And move on…

CAMERON 32 years old from Northampton, GB, in her previous fights she defeated the American JESSICA McCASKILL, winning all four Welterweight trophies. And then vs TAYLOR, she confirmed herself again, and therefore tonight she is putting all her titles in the Jr. Welterweight division up for grabs.

TAYLOR 37 years old from Bray, Ireland has no intention of retiring. Tonight she has to satisfy that Irish audience, but also beyond the borders because TAYLOR is one of those champions who has built a base of admirers everywhere.

They are two “Stars of the Ring” exciting match, I predict that CAMERON will undermine TAYLOR’s dreams of remaining in Super Welterweight while maintaining the titles won.

TAYLOR will be forced to return to compete against SERRANO in the Lightweight division.

This is the real chance that can get TAYLOR’s career back on track.  SERRANO is looking forward to this challenge! Ready to go up to the Lightweight division,

A GREAT FIGHT  FOR HISTORY! KATYE TAYLOR WINS MD!

KATIE TAYLOR is now champion in two weight divisions as of tonight, brushing all 4 of the Super Lightweight belts up for grabs until CHANTELLE CAMERON’s first in waist: WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF

The judges’ cards: 95-95, 98-92 and 96-94

In the third round, Cameron has heavier hands, but Taylor has better speed. They don’t give up! These two warrior women put on a truly great, beautiful boxing show!

Taylor and Cameron clash heads in the final seconds of the round and a cut opens up on Cameron’s forehead. It’s not a nice cut…

Between rounds, she is dabbed, and blood occasionally runs down Cameron’s cheeks, luckily it doesn’t blur her vision.

Fantastic 7th round Cameron advances while Taylor looks for the match shot. This is the first match in which Taylor presents herself as an underdog and wants to prove who she is! He lands a lot of shots

Their heads are getting so close that they are both working on tiptoes! Cameron lands a huge left hook and Taylor counters with her own! This is a crazy war! Bombs on both sides!

8th round Cameron feels the Irish fans breathing down her neck and lands an uppercut that shakes Taylor. Taylor fights back with a heavy right hand! Another great round!

In the final 10th round, the gloves fly free and there is yet another heated exchange. Both have their hands full! Taylor perhaps gets the upper hand thanks to the sheer volume of punches!

In the last 20 seconds of the 10th round, Cameron tries to land heavy punches. Taylor resists. The match is over!

What an amazing night of Great Boxing! What a fight in the last round!

A note to the judge who perhaps saw less of what was happening in front of him, he gave 98-92 for TAYLOR. The match was definitely a very, very combative fight. And very close. This scoring distance is not justified. 

The third match will not be missing, the trilogy is a must when two champions know how to give so much heart in the ring, the ecstatic public demands the third match.

BRAVO both TAYLOR and CAMERON TWO FANTASTIC WARRIORS! Dublin is in a frenzy for her KATYE!
