Il mio caro amico Marek, imprenditore polacco, animo nobile e generoso, ve ne ho parlato nel mio viaggio scorso Agosto 2023, quando sono andata a Wroclaw, in Polonia per il match dei Pesi Massimi USYK vs DOBOIS.

Marek stamani mi ha scritto questo toccante messaggio:

Cara Gianna
24 febbraio 2024 È trascorso il secondo anniversario dell’invasione dell’Ucraina da parte della Russia. In questa occasione sono state celebrate le sante messe nell’ambito di una festa nazionale sui Campi di Marte presso il cimitero di Lychakiv a Leopoli. Il Campo di Marte è un campo dove sono sepolti i soldati ucraini morti in battaglia provenienti da questa regione dell’Ucraina. Come ogni mese, quando vado in Ucraina con aiuti umanitari, ho l’opportunità di incontrare amici ucraini che hanno seppellito i loro amici morti nella lotta contro il nemico. Il soldato che onoro era di origine polacca come sua madre! Marek”
