ITALIA vs AUSTRIA toe-to-toe!
Ogni tanto scrivo che non amo il calcio. Mi annoia e la vita è breve…
Ma sabato sera, costretta a vedere la partita di pallone, ho avuto un colpo di fulmine per la nostra nazionale di calcio…
ITALIA vs AUSTRIA che partitona! E lo stadio di Wembley ancora una volta meraviglioso…
L’Italia non può perdere, questa nazione si nutre di calcio…ma ha giocato una partita, quale un match di pugilato.
Ho visto la nostra nazionale battersi contro una squadra straordinaria: l’Austria.
È stata una gran partita perché entrambe le squadre, ITALIA e AUSTRIA avevano “fame”.

Sì FAME di vincere di non deludere il pubblico, di non deludere loro stessi. Con l’ambizione smisurata di vincere.
Non ricordo, e quindi non faccio fede, non sono in alcun modo esperta di calcio, lo so, sono una rarità in Italia dove il 70% della popolazione segue il calcio come una religione, e con tale distacco voglio rimanere, amo la boxe di cui sono orgogliosamente esperta.
E dunque affermo di aver mai visto una partita così avvincente, come ITALIA vs AUSTRIA dello scorso sabato 26 giugno per le qualificazioni ai quarti di finale, dove nulla era scontato.
Un vero match, ad armi pari!
In campo il bel calcio lo determina molto il CT, che può variare i giocatori, infatti il nostro Roberto Mancini ne ha cambiati ben quattro; sul ring la bella boxe la determina il pugile, e solo il pugile o è preparato mentalmente e fisicamente per i 12 round o la disfatta è prevedibile. Non c’è nessuno a sostituirlo in panchina…nessuno.
Ecco perché non si può fare un paragone tra la boxe e il calcio, anche se la pubblicità per le prossime Olimpiadi di Tokyo, della TIM, è uscita dai binari, citando il capolavoro di Martin Scorse,Toro Scatenato, infatti dei dilettanti italiani non ci sarà neanche l’ombra, e poi ha concluso lo spot con un un paio di scarpette con i chiodi…Ma che ci azzecca? Avrebbe detto il magistrato…

Ho visto l’Italia del 1° e 2° tempo, far fatica a tenere il livello atletico degli austriaci fisicamente più dotati.
E che fisicata gli austriaci…(perdonate se i miei ormoni etero hanno anche gli occhi…)
Finalmente ai supplementari la partita è continuata come in un match di boxe di altissimo livello: toe-to-toe, direbbero gli americani, noi diciamo, corpo-a-corpo; gli austriaci con grande onore han difeso sino al fischio del arbitro di fine partita; una squadra perfetta che meritava di vincere, i calciatori austriaci si sono battuti con tale pressione, ed hanno giocato tutto il match tenendoci con il fiato sospeso. Appassionandoci…
Il CT austriaco, Franco Foda, di origini italiane, nato in Germania, con le idee chiare a sollecitare i suoi ragazzi a premere sull’Italia, con forza fisica, e determinazione e tutti i migliori n campo, gli austriaci sono però stati sorpresi dall’estro italiano per ben due volte.
La prima e determinate per sbloccare e aggiungere adrenalina, e in un campo e nell’altro, è stata l’azione individuale di Federico Chiesa che ha compiuto l’opera d’arte!
Poi il raddoppio acrobatico di Matteo Pessina!
Finalmente anche gli austriaci sono riusciti a mettere a segno un goal di Kaljdzcic, da applauso!
Se l’Italia gioca così, combattendo, come in un ring, intendo con questo spirito altamente competitivo, allora vedere vincere la propria nazionale con un tale avversario a cui va riconosciuto il merito delle armi… È sì una grande soddisfazione avere la meglio su un così valoroso avversario! Giù il cappello!
E di questo si tratta nella boxe.
Toe-to-toe: sfidarsi incalzando dando tutto sino alla fine, senza furbate, retaggio della mediocrità.

Intanto guardiamoci gli Europei, la nostra Nazionale Italiana Calcio è ai quarti di finale, e promettono scintille, in attesa che le ragazze italiane del pugilato dilettanti, qualificate per le prossime Olimpiadi di Tokyo, ci diano motivo per vedere un domani…nel pugilato italiano!

It was a great because both teams, ITALY and AUSTRIA were “hungry”.
