TYSON FURY non mi ha convinto quando ha vinto le cinture dei Pesi Massimi, WBA, WBO, IBF e The Ring Magazine che WALD KLITSCHKO ha conquistato in 11 anni… e che difende da 11 anni. Lo scorso novembre 2015, sul ring di Dusseldorf, ha vinto FURY, ma senza quella potenza necessaria del Peso Massimo che spettacolarizza questa categoria di giganti della boxe.

WLAD ha anni di pressanti allenamenti, anni intensi a forgiare il suo carattere, imporre la sua personalità. Quella notte, sul ring di Dusseldorf, un ring amico per KLITSCHKO, non è stato il solito WLAD, come scrissi, non era la sera di WLAD. Tutto qui.

FURY ha meritato la vincita ai punti, ma WLAD KLITSCHKO, record pro: 68 match, 53 vinti per KO, 3 persi per KO-  già Medaglia d’ Oro Olimpiadi di Atlanta nel 1996, è il migliore campione di questa generazione, anche se di 12 anni più vecchio di FURY.

Prima di lui, suo fratello VITALI KLITSCHKO, -oggi sindaco di Kiev in Ucraina- ha dominato con più talento e predisposizione, con classe e grande fair-play. Due gentlemen del ring così, sono difficili da replicare. Oltre 15 anni dei fratelli KLITSCHKO, entrambi campioni nei Pesi Massimi, è anche chiamata l’ ERA dei KLITSCHKO.

TYSON FURY, il “Gispy King”, britannico, da genitori irlandesi di origini gitane, Sinti per la precisione, è stato detronato dalle cinture WBA, WBO vinte vs WLAD KLITSCHKO, per avere per ben due volte rinviato la rivincita prevista. E nota amara, ma non sorprendente, il British Boxing Control, l’ente di Controllo del Pugilato Britannico, il 13 ottobre scorso, ha revocato la licenza di pugilato a FURY per, doping, o meglio risultato positivo al drug-test, per uso di cocaina. E’ questo il vero motivo, la sua salute mentale sarebbe così ad alto rischio che lui stesso dichiara che non vuole più vivere. Ora il suo staff è concentrato a curare la sua depressione maniacale.

Intanto, entro l‘anno, WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO se la vedrà con ANTHONY JOSHUA, britannico di origini nigeriane, detentore del titolo IBF.

Noi italiani, lo ricordiamo per aver vinto la Medaglia d’ Oro alle Olimpiadi di Londra, nel contestato verdetto vs ROBERTO CAMMARELLE, Medaglia d’ Argento. Ma le Olimpiadi per il pugilato, sono solo il lancio nel mondo dei professionisti e JOSHUA ha seguito il giusto percorso della Grande Boxe.

Non credo capace JOSHUA di mandare in pre-pensionamento WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO, non ne ha l ’esperienza, soprattutto il controllo, e un così grande atleta, senza il grande talento innato è impossibile da vincere.

La borsa è alta per un 27 enne con solo 17 match al suo attivo da professionista, si parla di quasi €40 milioni, da dividere, non si sa ancora i termini di percentuale in contratto. Ma rimane una gran malloppo!

TYSON FURY has not convinced me when he won the Heavyweight Belts, WBA, WBO, IBF, and The Ring Magazine that WALD KLITSCHKO won in 11 years … and defending for 11 years. Again the Olympics for Boxing is supposed to launch in the professional world and JOSHUA has followed the right path in Great Boxing.

I don’t think JOSHUA will be able to send in pre-retirement WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO doesn’t have the experience, the ring control, and such a great athlete, without the great innate talent still unwinnable.

The purse is high for a 27-year-old with only 17 matches as a Pro boxer, the talk is about almost € 40 million, to be split, we don’t know yet, the terms of percentage in the contract. But remains a big swag!
