ANDY RUIZ jr.

NIKOLAY VALUEV vs JOHN “the quiet man” RUIZ alla MAX SCHMELING HALLE IN BERLINO  2008

🥊🥊

ANDY RUIZ jr. THE FLOPPY MAN is THE SUBSTANCE MAN via TKO in the 7th round vs THE SCULPTURED JOSHUA!

I’m late but seeing the fights at night … here I am, beautifully awake!  Moral of tonight: always accept challenges, as did ANDY RUIZ jr. he had the chance and he changed history and his life!

There are so many Ruiz, Smiths, Mullers, and Duran, they are like our Mr. Rossi or Mr. Bianchi so many that they are anonymous until they do the best, and then you know well who they are in Sport, Music,  and all the fields there is only one.

The first RUIZ I met was a brave, fearless Puerto Rican American JOHN “the quiet man” RUIZ, born and raised in BOSTON. He fought twice vs the Russian giant, the biggest of all time NIKOLAY VALUEV. But he also fought three times with EVANDER HOLYFIELD …Not an easy one at all.

ANDY RUIZ jr. 29 years old, Mexican American since last night Heavyweight World Champion # 3 Belts  WBA, WBO, IBF to  British ANTHONY JOSHUA, 29 years old. A real inspiration for fat people …
ANTONY JOSHUA, a spectacular marble statue was wrought last night at Madison Square Garden by ANDY RUIZ jr. with a body similar to an obese taxi driver …

Guys the truth is that RUIZ jr. it has imposed himself with strikes of counterpunchers canceling completely the advantage of the height of JOSHUA.
A RUIZ undeniably likes fried cream donuts … but that guy can fight and he’s a Champion tonight!
RUIZ and his fast hands, in those combinations of punchy punches, from the tight defense and his strikes. He doesn’t stay there … once hit. He contrasts immediately with one or more hard strokes. The only question I had was if he could collect the hard blows of English JOSHUA. Well, he showed that he could take everything and even calm him down!

A great and deserved victory for RUIZ jr.

JOSHUA remains standing at the end of the third round, fought to recover in the fourth, and was doing well in the 5th. However, RUIZ was just waiting for his moment and once he connected again, he didn’t allow JOSHUA to challenge him even in the 7th round. The referee stopped the via TKO, Technical Knock Out.

RUIZ, has thrown shots in combination, in an aggressive succession, and has fast hands like a great Middle Weight.

RUIZ is mentally strong and this helped him not to gas out … He didn’t waste energy, and he was calm compared to JOSHUA who always seemed worried about being hit.
This is why JOSHUA went off just as WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO did because they were too nervous and JOSHUA was nervous.

I’m not condemning JOSHUA for losing, but for how he lost … It’s boxing, and everyone can lose. But JOSHUA threw the fight away in the 7th round. He was physically able to continue but decided not to risk it and to stand up in the corner. The unified champion of the Heavy Weights appeared so … coward, forgive the term is not right and none can give the coward to a great champion of boxing that crosses the ropes of the ring, he is never a coward one who risks his life, of course not, but being renouncer in boxing is synonymous with cowardice …

Or he simply didn’t have a prepared corner.

In fact, we saw that his trainer didn’t know what to do and had even less say …
It seemed more like a JOSHUA who was self-punishing, while his opponent RUIZ jr gave him some hard shots JOSHUA never appeared focused, he seemed almost lethargic. But, great RUIZ well done!

JOSHUA is faithful to his trainer. ROBERT McKRAKEN the same one he had in boxing amateurs when he became Olympic champion, Gold in Heavyweights in 2012 in London, but here it’s professionalism, you can really hurt yourself in the pro dispute.

JOSHUA in the rumored rematch will be in the UK next November as stipulated in the contract.
In my opinion, it will have to find another trainer of those that make the big difference. As happened to WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO when it was knocked down by BREWSTER, the arrival of EMANUEL STEWARD dramatically changed the entire career of the Ukrainian Gold Medal for Heavy Weights. Bringing KLITSCHKO to the top of the world for over 11 years …

ANDY RUIZ jr. THE FLOPPY MAN is THE SUBSTANCE MAN via TKO in the 7th round vs THE SCULPTURED JOSHUA!

ANDY RUIZ jr, born and raised in America has Mexican origins, like our ROCKY MARCIANO, born and raised in AMERICA, of Italian origins. So both are American Boxing Champions.
For Mexicans, it is considered the first World title in the Heavyweight division. In sports the wider the audience the better it is, of course.

We’ll see how he gets away with the Mexican parade in New York … MARCIANO was peerless with Italian-American “paesani”!

I saw the fight again, I think JOSHUA underestimated RUIZ jr. and he was more focused on the next challenge that really mattered to him – the fight vs WILDER.

I believe that JOSHUA in no way would like to end his career with the final of last night and in the most historic Arena in the United States, Madison Square Garden, so as announced in the post-fight press conference his promoter EDDIE HEARN, the revenge is confirmed.
And of course ANDY RUIZ jr. he will have a good contract with DAZN and here he changes his life, his bank account.

Now in Heavy Weights, all the cards are shuffled … I am still of the opinion that WILDER was farcical to say the least, in renouncing 120 million with DAZN to fight ANTHONY JOSHUA. Some trains no longer pass …
Nothing to take away from RUIZ, he did what he had to do to win. JOSHUA was already exhausted by the 2nd round, he was in front of RUIZ jr. without hitting him, he did not use his height as an advantage but instead lowered himself on RUIZ. He didn’t use his long jab or any jab to keep RUIZ at bay. RUIZ was faced with a tired JOSHUA who had nothing to give. JOSHUA was wounded by ONE SHOT and he never recovered.

AJ throughout the bout had an air of not wanting to be there,  in the ring. It occurs to me that perhaps he will no longer want to fight again, now that his aura of invincibility has disappeared.
ANDY RUIZ jr. congratulations, even the ladies who know the etiquette of the ring take off their hats … it’s your day of great victory, unforgettable.
ANDY ” el destructor” RUIZ jr. the ONLY ONE RUIZ enjoy your victory,  it all!
