FLOYD MAYWEATHER vs PAUL LOGAN la guerra dei cuscini
Quando un’immensa star del pugilato quale FLOYD MAYWEATHER jr., rientra sul ring, (ormai pensionato, a 44 anni qualsiasi campione di boxe lo è, salvo rarissime eccezioni) per disputare un match all’Hard Rock Stadium a Miami in Florida, contro uno di quelli del MMA e/o dell’UFC, o uno dei tizi che spopolano su YouTube che hanno un’infinità di seguaci, infatti più sono mediocri e urlano e più hanno pubblico, non c’è limite alla stupidità umana – purché non si tiri in ballo la Boxe, lo Sport della Boxe che nulla a che fare con la farsa che accadrà questa sera. Non si tratta di Sport. Punto.
E allora cos’è?
È puro intrattenimento circense.
Peccato non si utilizzano i match di grandi campioni per fare sport & intrattenimento.
La scuola tedesca dell’organizzatore tedesco Wilfried Sauerland, da me considerato il migliore in assoluto, e così Bernard Bounte a capo dell’organizzazione per cui combattevano i fratelli Klitschko, i migliori perché hanno fatto scuola nell’abbinamento Sport e Grande Spettacolo, Arte Pura.
Non sono un refuso le maiuscole. Le ho messe a sottolineare l’unicità dei protagonisti e dello Sport e dell’Arte.
Sì sono una purista, non potrebbe essere diversamente essendo figlia della grande boxe, cresciuta con il carisma dell’arte.
E dunque sapere che stasera il grande Floyd Mayweather jr. il cui record è 49 match tutti vinti, infatti non considero il match del debutto nella boxe di Connor McGregor, del 26 agosto 2017, che mai ha incrociato prima di allora i guantoni con un professionista della Grande Boxe, figuriamoci se poi la prima volta è con Floyd Mayweather jr., infatti furono 10 rounds di farsa, di finta, di colpi che non colpivano. Farsa trascinata per far intendere che l’avversario era di livello. Sono volate grandi parole, parolone e parolacce. Un effimero teatrino di insulti che ha avuto un eco pazzesco!
L’eco del marketing di bufale sfondò il muri del suono…
Certo la gente ama le dispute.
E la Boxe uomo vs uomo, è l’archetipo delle sfide umane.
E così ha raccolto una multitudine di milioni di “nuovi e casuali” fans, di tifosi.
Floyd “money” Mayweather ovviamente fermò la star del MMA e dell’UFC, McGregor via TKO, prima del limite.
L’incasso garantito da contratto, se ricordo bene fu di 100 milioni, per Mayweather e di 30 milioni per McGregor, a conti fatti, per il primo si trattò di oltre 250 milioni e per l’irlandese debuttante nella grande boxe di oltre 100 milioni!
SE C’É LA DOMANDA C’É L’OFFERTA.
E certo Mayweather jr. la cui boxe non è mai stata esaltante, certamente cauta, e la prudenza nella boxe priva di fatto la spettacolarità dell’arringa sul ring, se si limita alla difesa, anche se la difesa di Mayweather non c’è dubbio è, e rimarrà da manuale.
Il genio di Mayweather nel produrre danaro è da astuto uomo d’affari. Sa stare al gioco delle parole. Forte del grande passato dei grandi americani che lo hanno preceduto, ha creato il personaggio abile nel farsi desiderare. E ciò che conta nell’intrattenimento sa far girare i quattrini.
Non a caso il suo nickname, è “money”, FLOYD “money” MAYWEATHER, infatti non ha altro Dio che non sia il dio-danaro.
Poco contenuto per una grande atleta.
Specialmente per quei formidabili americani che lo hanno preceduto.
Penso a tanti, tra cui Joe Louis, Ray Robinson, Frazier, Ali…
Tutti si sono votati a una causa nobile.
Mayweather jr., il solo simbolo che riconosce sono i soldi.
Ho scritto il solo, non che i soldi non siano importanti.
Ricordo perfettamente per aver coperto ogni singolo match, accreditata, e quanta spazzatura MAYWEATHER jr., era in grado di generare pur di far salire le quotazioni per il match tra lui e il grande filippino PACQUIAO che tutto il mondo voleva. Ma il “contenuto” c’era tutto lì e al naturale!
Oggi MAYWEATHER che ha abdicato alla grande boxe, ormai non ha nulla più da dire, torna in scena, per incontrare un signor nessuno tale PAUL LOGAN, al contrario del leggendario senatore delle Filippine MANNY “pacman” PACQUAIO, 41 anni, che non ha mai smesso, ancora quest’anno salirà sul ring con un vero e talentuoso avversario, ERROL SPENCE, come si conviene ad un atleta di grande inspirazione che accetta la sfida, e che sia chiaro non ha nulla da dimostrare, lui ha davvero scolpito osando, sfidando chiunque, comunque, vincendo e perdendo clamorosamente anche via KO con un perfetto difensore contrista quale Manuel Marquez…epica notte per il riscatto mexicano, ma sofferta tempestosa notte quell’8 dicembre 2012!
Persino i messicani, ma non deve stupire, il rispetto per il grande avversario, il guerriero filippino Pacquaio, era al limite della venerazione, con quel KO imprevisto a quell’eroe filippino, furono silenziati, ammutoliti.
Quella notte il mondo ha sofferto per Manny Pacquaio.
Il mondo non ha mai sofferto un momento per Floyd Mayweather.
Dunque questa sera, 6 Giugno in Florida, MAYWEATHER vs PAUL LOGAN. MAYWEATHER non peserà più di 150 lbs, circa 68 Kg, e PAUL LOGAN non sarà menò di 205 lbs, circa 113 Kg. Calcolando, PAUL LOGAN avrà 50 libbre in più, quasi 23 Kg; e 6 pollici in più, oltre 15 cm di altezza, e 18 anni in meno rispetto a MAYWEATHER jr. 44 anni…
Insomma il ricco incasso è garantito, è certo anche l’accordo che nessuno si dovrà far male.
E la gente pagherà per guardare una battaglia di cuscini…Dal momento che i guantoni peseranno 12 once anziché le solite 10 once.
Si tratta di qualcosa di già visto ma all’incontrario del meglio. Si tratta di una brutta sceneggiatura copiata male ed incollata peggio dai grandi match della storia.
Andrà così:Floyd giocherà, (il combattimento è un’altra cosa) con questo tizio prima che lo fermi con un colpo da KO.
Poi l’altro furbetto youtuber del MMA /UFC tale Tyrone Woodley incontrerà il divo di YouTube, Jake Paul, e certamente si tufferà in un KO premeditato…e così Jake Paul con la vittoria, avrà garantito il match con Floyd Mayweather jr.
Naturalmente, Floyd distruggerà anche lui.
Ecco come si svolgerà l’intera impostura così sceneggiata dei fratelli Paul.
E finalmente, citando quel visionario di Andy Warhol, saranno finiti i loro 15’ di celebrità che non si negano a nessuno…
In sostanza, non ci saranno perdenti, ma incassi economici da capogiro, per tutti e quattro i ragazzi. I campioni sono campioni e non si chiamano ragazzi… E questi che salgono su un ring eseguiranno una farsa che rende tutti milionari.
Non pensate neanche per un momento che si tratti di pugilato.
Con questa farsa, possiamo tranquillamente dire che Mayweather jr., ha toccato il fondo. Mayweather non aveva nessun bisogno, se non l’estrema avidità di danaro di scendere così in basso, sino al non-rispetto per la Grande Boxe che così tanto, tutto gli ha dato e lui dovrebbe certamente riconoscere, dal punto di vista umano e sportivo.
Invece domani sera Mayweather che tanto ma davvero tanto potrebbe dare, perché il campione è intelligente vero, ma non ha cuore, e sono tante le possibili rivendicazioni civili che invadono la sua nazione, e che solo ci mettesse il naso, sarebbe una positiva apertura ad un mondo così ostile e incazzato…
invece FLOYD “Money” MAYWEATHER sembrerà solo una vecchia prostituta che non riesce a far meno della strada…
…e MAYWEATHER darà spago al suo avversario, perché in un match vero non durerebbe 30”. E del resto se lui domina, nessuno pagherebbe per vedere questo match…
Insomma una brutta sceneggiatura di un film dove tutto è prevedibile.
Mayweather giocherà con questo tizio per riempirsi le tasche, già oltremodo strapiene.
Il suo avversario Logan Paul tornerà su YouTube per restarci.
LOGAN viene semplicemente pagato per essere un attore con manie di grandezza che pensa di essere un pugile. Che barzelletta!
Una farsa da cui vergognarsi, per l’insulto alla grande boxe, ma non da meno di questo spettacolo circense proposto da MAYWEATHER vs LOGAN che almeno si finanzia da sé, è Il nostro pugilato italiano amatoriale, così detto olimpico…formato da finti atleti travestiti da poliziotti, in indefinito stato amatoriale e come poliziotti e come atleti.
Gente che mai ha osato affrontare il professionismo e guadagnarsi i soldi.
Non possono essere in nessun modo, un riferimento a cui ispirarsi, un esempio per i giovani che vogliono avanzare. E infatti non abbiamo campioni.
Forse la baracconta di oggi da un’idea ai nostri vecchi olimpionici cialtroni di cosa inventarsi per sopravvivere.
E lasciare così spazio a chi ha veri sogni di gloria da realizzare. Talento per entusiasmare e lasciare traccia nella Storia della Grande Boxe, in quella cultura sportiva così determinante per sbrigarsersela anche nella vita.
