Nella mia lista dei migliori del 2020 è stato il KO dell’anno!

Superato il traguardo dei quarant’anni, POVETKIN, sulla bilancia è 4 KG di più dell’avversario, il 32enne DILLIAN WHYTE, forse le sue gambe non saranno quelle dei tempi migliori, ma la sua brillante intelligenza, il ritmo, il momento giusto, può dare lezione al Jamaicano residente in Gran Bretagna, che invece è salito sulla bilancia più in forma, quindi più agile.

Per DILLIAN WHYTE la posta è in gioco è altissima. O vince, o evapora nell’oblio.

Il match è stato rinviato tre volte perché POVETKIN ha contratto Covid 19 per due volte, ed è stato in ospedale.

Nonostante l’età, POVETKIN ha l’orgoglio della sua storia, e l’ambizione di continuare a competere.

WHYTE, non ha ancora gran momenti da ricordare, se non quel devastante KO subito proprio da POVETKIN.  È ammirevole il suo coraggio di riprovarci.

Il mio pronostico?  WHYTE subirà di nuovo, vittima della sua stessa ambizione.

Nei Pesi Massimi tutto può succedere, e le previsioni da lontano sono un’audacia confortata dalla competenza, ma non è abbastanza, di più amo il rischio e lancio i miei dadi, per POVETKIN!

Ê appena passata la mezzanotte, il 28 Marzio 2021 è adesso, e DILLIAN WHYTE al 4 round con triplice destro ha vinto via KO vs ALEXANDER POVETKIN. 

Match monologo di DILLIAN WHYTE, facile da battere, POVETKIN non c’era, le sue gambe, i suoi movimenti, la sua reattività, nemmeno l’ombra dello scorso match, con quel stupefacente KO, e nei suoi anni migliori. 

Credo debba terminare qui la carriera di ALEXANDER “sasha” POVETKIN un grande guerriero che non si è risparmiato mai, ha affrontato chiunque e ovunque. Forse, dopo aver contratto il Covid 19,  non era il caso di salire di nuovo sul ring.  

E in più il tempo è irrispettoso con tutti, per gli atleti è ancor di più biologico, quando è terminato bisogna accettarlo.

It’s just after midnight, March 28th, 2021 is now, and DILLIAN WHYTE in the 4th round with a triple right won via KO vs ALEXANDER POVETKIN.

Match monologue by DILLIAN WHYTE, POVETKIN was not there, his legs, his movements, his reactivity, not even the shadow of the last match, with that amazing KO, and in his best years.

I think the career of ALEXANDER “sasha” POVETKIN should end here, a great warrior who never saved himself, he faced anyone and everywhere. Perhaps, after contracting Covid 19, there was no need to step back into the ring.

And in addition, time is disrespectful to everyone, for athletes it is even more biological, when it is finished you have to accept it.
