OSCAR DE LA HOYA COMPATTO CON I PROMOTER DI BOXE: ALI’S ACT NON SI TOCCA!
Loro i Pugili, così belli, sempre giovani anche con il passare del tempo perchè quell’impetuosità quello spirito guerriero indomito è qualcosa con cui si nasce e che la Nobile Arte disciplina, per essere Campioni. Ma chi li difende…loro i Pugili?
Non è una domanda retorica. Tra le migliaia dei miei scritti su questo Blog, c’è quello sulle morti nel pugilato, impossibili da ignorare e che ogni anno vi ripropongo tra i Migliori.
E dunque è necessario che un già Gran Campione come OSCAR DE LA HOYA, oggi più che ottimo organizzatore di boxe, sostenga pubblicamente il suo supporto a difesa de l’ALI’s ACT.
Come del resto si sono già espressi, sia il “grande vecchio”, della Grande Boxe BOB ARUM, con la sua TOP RANK nata nel 1965 dove ha iniziato a promuovendo proprio Muhammad Ali sino a CRAWFORD, passando per lo stesso DE LA HOYA, e PACQUAIO, senza farsi mancare nessuno che ha fatto crescere e diventare superbi, competitivi stellari campioni, un elenco infinito, così i due organizzatori britannici primo in assoluto, FRANK WARREN Queensburry Production, seguito a distanza EDDIE HEARN di Match Room.
Sono riferimenti quali le più grandi e importanti organizzazioni mondiali, certo anche di altre nazioni, l’elenco è ben nutrito sia chiaro, e non ultimo la stessa GOLDEN BOY PROMOTION di OSCAR DE LA HOYA.
Ma tutto il mondo degli organizzatori che valgono, che han permesso eventi superlativi con starodinari Campioni di Boxe al centro del ring, e han fatto la storia della Grande Boxe sono ovviamente d’accordo.
Ma perchè c’è bisogno che OSCAR DE L A HOYA lo dica?
Per difendere e tenere alta la bandiera dei diritti di tutti i Pugili contemporanei e che verranno.
Perchè l’entrata a gamba tesa di tale Zuffa Boxing, o TKO di tal Dana White, che nasce con l’UFC e MMA due pratiche di combattimento che nulla hanno a che fare con il Pugilato, la più antica disciplina sportiva nella storia dell’umanità. Nulla.
I Pugili non possono essere ostaggio di un’organizzazione che impone loro contratti, che intende clssificare e di assegnare trofei propri. E considerato il suo contatto diretto con Mr. TRUMP, il tizio Dana White, intende modificare la riforma dell’ALI’s ACT. Il tizio Dana White cerca grane!
Cos’è l’ALI’s ACT?
É la riforma di Legge del Congresso Americano del 26 maggio 2000: Il Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act – in breve ALI’s ACT – 1832 H.R., ha lo scopo di proteggere i diritti e il benessere dei pugili professionisti a livello interstatale, prevenendo determinate pratiche commerciali sfruttatrici, oppressive e immorali, di assistere le commissioni statali di pugilato nei loro sforzi per garantire una supervisione pubblica più efficace dello sport e di promuovere una competizione onorevole nel pugilato professionistico e migliorare l’integrità complessiva del settore.

Ad esempio…ha reso illegale essere contemporaneamente manager e organizzatori e richiede la massima trasparenza finanziaria da parte degli organizzatori e degli enti sanzionatori. (Vedi WBA- WBC-WBO- IBF ndr).
Cosa che invece ho spesso visto fare in talune nazioni, non esclusa la mia Italia…non chiediamoci ipocritamente perchè non abbiamo campioni di boxe di livello… In Italia di pugilato si muore di fame. C’è chi si accontenta di dilettarsi con i dilettanti…e che sempre più scarsi, mai diventano Pro e se lo diventano sono per pochi spiccioli alla sagra paesana, intanto che il manager organizzatore sottrae le sue aspettative. Senza un supporto sicuro alla crescita, un rapporto di fiducia troppo volte tradito non c’è futuro. Nessuno ottiene un risultato eccellente.
Ah che Storia gloriosa abbiamo avuto…prima o poi ci rifaremo.
Dicevo l’ALI’s ACT è vitale per la difesa dei giovani astri che intendono emergere, per chi già tocca il cielo con i guantoni, e chi sta per concludere la propria carriera.
ALI’s ACT è una difesa dei diritti dei Pugili, dell’integrità dello Sport della Boxe.
E nessuno sfruttamento può mai, e poi mai essere accettato! Non si torni indietro agli anni bui, dove i pugili erano vittime di truffe colossali e della stessa violenza armata di racket criminali!
Un’organizzazione di pugilato non può essere tutto: contrattualizzare, organizzare, difendere, elargire titoli e vedi mio scritto scorso 13 settembre, dove cito l’entrata di Zuffa Boxing nei grandi eventi, senza mai prima d’ora avuto nessun tipo di iniziazzione ed ha promosso CANELO vs CRAWFORD e mi auguro nello scritto, di sbarazzercene subito. Perchè con quel grande evento confezionato con il contributo dei quattrini del saudita capo dell’intrattanimento TURKI ALALSHIKH, il tal Dana White, si sente autorizzato a cambiare le regole della boxe! Crede lui…
Il saudita TURKI ALALSHIKH di Ryadh Season, che ha promosso match fantastici, meravigliosi, eccellenti negli ultimi due anni, 2023/ 2024, indubbiamente con un carico molto importante di danaro necessario, ma farà meglio se si trova un patner americano di pugilato, non di sottoculture devianti, appunto UFC e MMA che intende imporre un cambio radicale ai diritti acquisiti dai Pugili, con immensa fatica dal pugilato e non solo americano.
Giacchè il pugilato che conta, lo ha come riferimento e non solo accolto per i suoi quattrini, ma perchè sincero appassionato e dunque gli è grato per il suo investimento.
E dunque il pugilato come avrà compreso TURKI, non è grande perchè lui ci mette tanti soldi, indubbiamnete necessari, ma la Boxe ha con sè una magnifica, infinita, meravigliosa Storia! E il Pugile, l’atleta va coltivato, supportato in tutto il suo percorso.
É così che lui, TURKI, si è ritrovato ad investire in grandi eventi della Grande Boxe per la sua Riyad Season, promossa con chi prima di lui, ha investito una vita cogliendo successi ed insuccessi dei migliori Campioni della terra.
Un viaggio della vita dove i pugili si sono alternati, generazione dopo generazione. Già la vita del Campione di Boxe non è infinita. Lui da tutto sul ring sin che è giovane e forte. Poi il resto è un’altra avventura tutta costruire.
Ancor di più va protetto e i suoi diritti rispettari. Lui, il Pugile mette davvero in gioco la sua vita. Nessun promotore, organizzatore gioca la vita sul ring, nessun altro addetto, sfida la vita com il Pugile.

Dunque quelle notti spettacolari ci sono potute essere perchè ragazzi incrediblmente guerrieri han creduto nelle loro risorse, con vicino di solito un buon maestro, l’unico ad avere in fiducia in lui.
E poi via a provare a mettere su eventi per mettersi in mostra e così le ragzze a scandire i round tra un round e l’altro per far bella mostra si sè magarì una pubblicità, una parte in un film, o semplicemente per arrottondare intanto che studentesse, e far quadrare i costi di un affitto e via…con i più svariati moltivi.
Poi finalmente l’occhio del grande promoter addocchia il suo proabile giovane leone. Lo contatta tramite il suo manager, spesso agli inizi è anche il suo allenatore, e dunque fa solo ed esclusivamente gli interessi del suo Pugile.
L’organizzatore, lo contrattuallizza per un tot di match, lo cresce con il suo maestro, se rimane senza, gliene trova uno nuovo, gli offre una casa, una palestra, cerca di portarlo alle grandi conquiste, giorno dopo, mese dopo mese, conquista dopo conquista, in un crescendo, sempre in condivisione con il suo manager.
Non sono associati, se ne possono andare quando vogliono. I contratti scadono naturalmente o si rinnovano. Nessuno è ricattabile. Il mercato è libero è aperto, c’è posto per tutti. Nel rispetto di tutti. É sempre stata la prima regola dellla boxe. La regola numero uno: il rispetto. Quante volte ho scritto che il Pugilato è lo Sport più democratico del mondo? Vige la Democrazia.
A TURKI ALALSHIKH serve un patner americano vero, innamorato della boxe, che sostiene i suoi pugili in ogni diritto civile, di professione, di crescita, per avere il pubblico nelle arene americane così come ha fatto per il match di USYK vs DUBOIS II, all’arena di Wembley a Londra, dove il patner dell’inglese FRANK WARREN era appunto il saudita TURKI ALALSHIKH.
USYK si è confermato lo stesso che avevano visto a Wroclaw in Polonia nel 2023. Un eccelso Campione oggi l’UOMO della Boxe, tutto il resto è dietro. E TURKI ALALSHIKH può essere pià che fiero di aver promosso quel gran Cosacco Ucraino!
Come lo stesso TURKI ha creato eventi memorabili nella sua Ryiad, in una magnifica ospitalità, prima dei già leggendari match di USYK vs FURY 1° e 2° match…un 2024 per la Storia. Piano piano il pubblico nuovo dei sauditi si è affezionato alla Grande Boxe. Un ritorno d’immagine per Riyad a livello globale.
Succede sempre così, è successo anche con Il Tennis, il nostro JANNIK SINNER è il rappresentante della miglior gioventù italiana, talento, classe e una fame gigantesca di fama e gloria! Che orgoglio quel trofeo, quella magnifica opera di fine artigianato orafo, quella Racchetta D’Oro…dello scorso 18 ottobre, tutta conquistata dal nostro “bel ragazzo” JANNIK SINNER!
Con la Boxe succedeva lo scorso 19 luglio, un pubblico di 90.000 spettatori! Non ha bisogno il ricco e appassionato TURKI ALALSHIKH di una Dana White con la sua Zuffa Boxing o TKO che si chiami, che già il nome stravolge un verdetto…per sbarcare negli USA. Questo tizio qualsiasi che intende stravolgere ALI’s ACT e imporre delle regole che deprimono che tolgono i diritti ai Pugili. Non deludere i fans della Boxe, TURKI è quanto di peggio può capitare ad un investitore.
E perchè il tizio Dana White porta il contratto della Paramount +…Non può uno controllare tutto il business della Grande Boxe, schiavizzare i Pugili! E prendere i loro soldi…Non ci siamo, lo schiavismo è finito da secoli. I traffici di essere umani sono roba criminale. Non cè affare che tenga. É proposta illecita. Punto.
Il tizio non gode e nè mai ha goduto di nessuna stima nel mondo del pugilato.
É una follia che va fermata subito. E la Grande Boxe, tutto l’apparato e le commissioni e gli addetti ai lavori, alla stampa chiunque deve proteggere i Pugili. Nessuno è d’accordo a quella proposta immonda.
Che tale Dana White dell’UFC e MMA, sia amico di Mr. TRUMP non vuol dire che TRUMP fa ciò che Dana White vuole lui imporre.
Ma dai…! É il Presidente degli USA non uno che prendi per la giacchetta e lo giri come ti pare…
Mr. TRUMP è stato un promoter di Boxe nella sua Atlantic City, non credo che verrà meno ai diritti dei Pugili perchè glielo chiede un tizio che pretende di entrare in un mondo che non lo vuole!
Anche Mr. Trump ha investito nella Boxe, senza pretendere di stravolgere i diritti dei Pugili a mia conoscenza li ha sempre e solo difesi. E non per dire, come vi ho già riportato in questo mio stesso Blog e anche oltre come vedrete.
Con un KO entro il primo minuto, tutti noi, della Grande Boxe, buttiamo fuori questo cialtrone Dana White, da qualsiasi Ring di Pugilato, lui pretenda osare di scavalcare!

OSCAR DE LA HOYA JOINS BOXING PROMOTERS: ALI’S ACT IS UNTOUCHABLE!!
They, the Fighters, so handsome, forever young even as time passes, because that impetuosity, that indomitable warrior spirit, is something you’re born with and that the Noble Art disciplines to become Champions. But who defends them…them, the Boxers?
This isn’t a rhetorical question. Among the thousands of my writings on this blog, there’s one about boxing deaths, impossible to ignore, and which I present to you every year among the Best.
And so it’s necessary that a former Great Champion like OSCAR DE LA HOYA, today more than an excellent boxing promoter, publicly express his support for ALI’s ACT.
As has already been stated, both the “grand old man” of Great Boxing, BOB ARUM, with his TOP RANK founded in 1965 where he began promoting Muhammad Ali up to CRAWFORD, passing through DE LA HOYA himself, and PACQUAIO, without missing anyone who has raised and become superb, competitive stellar champions, an endless list, so the two British promters first of all, FRANK WARREN Queensburry Production, followed at a distance by EDDIE HEARN of Match Room. These are references such as the largest and most important organizations in the world, certainly also from other countries—the list is extensive, of course—and not least OSCAR DE LA HOYA’s GOLDEN BOY PROMOTION itself.
But the entire world of promoters, who have enabled superlative events with outstanding boxing champions in the center of the ring, and have made the history of Great Boxing, obviously agrees.
But why does OSCAR DE L’A HOYA need to say this?
To defend and hold high the banner of the rights of all contemporary and future boxers.
Because of the forceful entry of Zuffa Boxing, or TKO, of a certain Dana White, born with the UFC and MMA, two fighting practices that have nothing to do with boxing, the oldest sport in human history. Nothing.
Boxers cannot be held hostage by an organization that imposes contracts on them, intends to classify them, and award its own trophies. And given his direct contact with Mr. TRUMP, Dana White intends to amend the ALI’s ACT. Dana White is looking for trouble!
What is the ALI’s ACT?
It’s the reform law passed by the U.S. Congress on May 26, 2000: The Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act—H.R. 1832 for short—is intended to protect the rights and welfare of professional boxers interstate by preventing certain exploitative, oppressive, and unethical business practices, to assist state boxing commissions in their efforts to ensure more effective public oversight of the sport, and to promote honorable competition in professional boxing and improve the overall integrity of the industry.

For example, it has made it illegal for a promoter to act as a manager and required full financial transparency from promoters and sanctioning bodies. (See WBA-WBC-WBO-IBF )
Which, however, I have often seen in certain countries, including my own Italy…let’s not hypocritically ask ourselves why we don’t have anymore top-level boxing champions… In Italy, boxing is struggling. Some are content to dabble with amateurs…and who, increasingly poor, never become pros, and if they do, it’s for a few pennies at the local fair, while the organizing manager undermines their expectations. Without reliable support for growth, a relationship of trust that’s been betrayed too often, there’s no future. No one achieves excellent results.
Ah, what a glorious history we’ve had…sooner or later, we’ll make up for it.
I was saying that ALI’s ACT is vital for the protection of young stars who aspire to emerge, for those already touching the sky with their gloves, and for those who are nearing the end of their careers.
ALI’s ACT is a defense of boxers’ rights, of the integrity of the sport of boxing.
And no exploitation can ever, ever be accepted! Let’s not go back to the dark ages, when boxers were victims of colossal fraud and the same armed violence of criminal rackets!
A boxing promoter can’t be everything: contracting, organizing, defending, and awarding titles. See my article from September 13th, where I mention Zuffa Boxing’s entry into major events, without ever having had any kind of initiation before, and it promoted CANELO vs. CRAWFORD. I hope in my article that we get rid of it immediately.
Because with that major event, put together with the money of Saudi entertainment TURKI ALALSHIKH, a certain Dana White, he feels entitled to change the rules of boxing! He believes…
Saudi TURKI ALALSHIKH of Riyadh Season, who has promoted fantastic, wonderful, excellent fights in recent two years, 2023/2024, undoubtedly with a very significant amount of necessary money, but it would be better if an American boxing partner is found, not one from deviant subcultures, namely the UFC and MMA, who intends to impose a radical change on the rights acquired by boxers, with immense effort by boxing and not just American boxing.
Because the boxing that matters has him as a reference and is welcomed not only for his money, but because he is a sincere enthusiast and is therefore grateful for his investment.
And so boxing, as TURKI will have understood, isn’t great because he puts in a lot of money, undoubtedly necessary, but boxing has a magnificent, infinite, wonderful history! And the boxer, the athlete, must be cultivated and supported throughout his journey.
This is how he, TURKI, found himself investing in major events of the Great Boxing Championship for his Riyadh Season, promoted with those before him who invested a lifetime in reaping the successes and failures of the world’s greatest champions.
A life journey where boxers have come and gone, generation after generation. The life of a Boxing Champion is not infinite. He gives everything in the ring while he’s young and strong. Then the rest is another adventure to be built.
Even more, he must be protected and his rights respected. He, the Boxer, truly puts his life on the line. No promoter or organizer gambles their life in the ring, no other person challenges life like the Boxer.

So those spectacular nights were possible because incredibly warriors believed in their own resources, usually with a good coach nearby, the only one who trusted them.
And then they started trying to put on events to show off, and so the girls would pace the rounds between rounds to show off, maybe for a commercial, a part in a movie, or to make ends meet while they were students, and to balance the rent, and so on… with all sorts of other things.
Then, finally, the eye of the great promoter caught sight of his probable young lion. He contacted him through his manager, who, in the early stages, was also his coach and therefore acted solely and exclusively in the interests of his Boxer.
The promoter signs him for a certain number of fights, trains him with his mentor, and if he’s without one, gives him a new one, offers him a home, a gym, and tries to lead him to great victories, day after day, month after month, victory after victory, in a crescendo, always in collaboration with his manager.
They aren’t partners; they can leave whenever they want. Contracts expire naturally or are renewed. No one can be blackmailed. The market is free and open; there’s room for everyone. Respect for everyone. It’s always been the first rule of boxing. Number one: respect. How many times have I written that boxing is the most democratic sport in the world? Democracy reigns supreme.
TURKI ALALSHIKH needs a true American partner, one who loves boxing and supports his fighters in every civil, professional, and developmental right, to draw crowds to American arenas, as he did for the USYK vs. DUBOIS II fight at Wembley Arena in London, where Englishman FRANK WARREN’s partner was none other than Saudi Arabian TURKI ALALSHIKH.
USYK has proven to be the same man they saw in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2023. Today, a supreme champion, the MAN of Boxing, everything else is second. And TURKI ALALSHIKH can be more than proud to have promoted that great Ukrainian Cossack!
Just as TURKI himself created memorable events in his hometown of Riyadh, with magnificent hospitality, before the already legendary USYK vs. FURY 1st and 2nd fights… a 2024 for history. Little by little, the new Saudi audience has become fond of great boxing. A global boost for Riyadh’s image.
It always happens like this; it happened with tennis, too. Our very own JANNIK SINNER represents the best of Italian youth: talent, class, and a gigantic hunger for fame and glory! How proud that trophy, that magnificent work of fine goldsmith craftsmanship, that Golden Racket…last October 18th, entirely won by our “handsome boy” JANNIK SINNER!
With boxing, it happened last July 19th, with an audience of 90,000 spectators! The rich and passionate TURKI ALALSHIKH doesn’t need a Dana White with his Zuffa Boxing or TKO, whatever you call it, the name itself overturns a verdict…to land in the USA.
This random guy intends to overturn ALI’s ACT and impose depressing rules that take away boxers’ rights. Don’t disappoint boxing fans, TURKI is the worst thing that can happen to an investor.
And why does Dana White have the Paramount contract? One guy can’t control the entire Big Boxing business, enslave fighters, and take their money. This isn’t the case; slavery ended centuries ago. Human trafficking is criminal. There’s no way it’s going to work. It’s an illicit proposition. Period.
The guy doesn’t enjoy, nor has he ever enjoyed, any respect in the boxing world.
This is madness that must be stopped immediately. Great Boxing, the entire apparatus, the commissions, the insiders, and the press, everyone must protect the Fighters. No one agrees with this filthy proposal.
Just because a certain Dana White of the UFC and MMA is a friend of Mr. TRUMP doesn’t mean that TRUMP does what Dana White wants him to do.
Come on…! He’s the President of the United States, not someone you can grab by the jacket and twist as you please…
Mr. TRUMP was a boxing promoter in Atlantic City. I don’t think he’ll disobey boxers’ rights because he’s been asked to do so by a guy who wants to enter a world that doesn’t want him!
Mr. Trump has also invested in boxing, and without claiming to overturn boxers’ rights, as far as I know, he’s always and only defended them. And not just to say, as I’ve already reported in this very blog of mine and beyond, as you’ll see.
With a knockout within the first minute, all of us in Great Boxing will kick this charlatan Dana White out of any boxing ring he dares to step into!
In the meantime, someone should whisper to Dana White that The History Cannot Be Erased!
